Penllwyn lodges comprise of 19 individually architect designed lodges and one beautiful cottage set in thirty acres of woodland and meadows around the Montgomeryshire Canal and our own lake. The lodges are situated on a wooded hill with views of the surrounding countryside whilst the cottage overlooks the lake and canal.

We now have a children's play area and a small provisions shop.

Heating and electricity in the lodges is by pre-payment meter set at standard Electricity Board rates, the lodges are heated prior to your arrival. Heating and electricity is included in the rental charge for the Stablings. All accommodation is fully equipped. Bed linen is provided, however, guests should bring their own towels, tea towels and bedding for cots. please remember we are in a very rural area so suitable clothing and a torch are essential accessories for late evening walks.

Well behaved pets are most welcome in certain specified lodges at a charge of £20 per dog per week and £15 per dog per weekend. However, we strongly request that pets are kept off furniture and beds and owners should please clean up after their dogs.

All prices are per lodge and include VAT @ 17.5%. Overcrowding cannot be permitted in any circumstance as it invalidates our insurance, the only exception being babies in cots. We do have available a limited number of cots and high chairs which should be booked in advance.

All bookings should be made by telephone and may be confirmed immediately in writing with the appropriate deposit within 14 days as we cannot undertake to hold unconfirmed accommodation. The balance is payable in full 30 days before the holiday.

Holiday Cancellations: Once your holiday is confirmed you are responsible for the prompt payment of the final balance due, one month before your arrival. If you wish to cancel your booking will you please telephone us first and then confirm in writing. If you cancel before 28 days of your holiday you will lose only your deposit. If you cancel within the 28 days we will endeavour to relet the Lodges for you. If we are successful in reletting, you only forfeit your deposit and if we cannot relet then you will be held responsible for prompt payment of the final balance of the hire due. (We suggest you insure against this to cover yourselves with a reputable insurance company as new laws do not allow us to insure you.)

Weekend and midweek breaks are available from the first weekend in September (excluding Bank Holidays) to the last weekend in June, and may be booked at any time. At other times (July - August) we can only accept short-break bookings within 7 days of the proposed holiday and the charge is payable in full on confirmation.
